25 Ideas for '25
Renewing the Promise of New York

"At the heart of what it means to be a New Yorker is an animating sense that every conversation should be about how we do things better.   Sure we gripe and we kvetch, but we also are in a constant dialogue with our neighbors and our leaders about more than that.  This yearning for "how" we can make our block, our neighborhood and our city better is what makes me tick.  On a basic level it is what I hope all of our civic conversations are about : Ideas.  Its incumbent on all of us to be part of this conversation but particularly for anyone who wants our votes.  As Sam Rayburn once said, "any jackass can kick down a barn but it takes a good carpenter to build one".  These are a few of my ideas for how to build a better city for all of us.  Tell me yours." - Anthony Weiner
